Steamery’s mission is to inspire and educate people to take better care of their clothes, to make them beautiful and last longer. Our six years of profitable growth landed on 95 MSEK in turnover (2021), with sales in over 60 markets worldwide. We’re founder owned and led company with a team of more than 30 passionate individuals with diverse international backgrounds where English is our main spoken language. Please note the nature of the role requires fluency in Swedish both orally and in writing, as well as a Swedish work permit.

About the position

As CFO you will play a key role in our organization and participate in strategic planning initiatives and provide necessary insights between considered initiatives and the financial implications to the business. Initially your team will include a Business Controller and a Junior Financial Assistant. After two years of slow growth (15-20%), we are planning for a growth nearing 50% coming years. Your role will be to ensure team, processes and systems can handle the scale up. We are planning to raise our first round of external capital, a process which you lead. You will be a member of our leadership team and report to our CEO.

Key projects

1. Raise capital - All that growth requires additional capital. You will be responsible for the process.

1. Finance Department - Setup our Inhouse finance department

1. Systems Implementation - Setting a new systems architecture and implement a structure that can support our scope and growth

1. Distributor structure - Support our CCO In expanding our distributor network on current and additional markets

Your main tasks will be (but not limited to)

• Accounting and reporting - Responsible for company accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting
• Government relations - Manage financial reporting linked to customs, freight, and inventory
• ERP - Be responsible for implementing a new Bookkeeping system (from Fortnox to MS Dynamics)

• Provide strategic and databased advice to CEO, Board and Management Team
• Pricing and Margin - Secure margins through price modelling with our sales team
• Forecasting - Responsible for demand forecasting and production planning. In collaboration with the sales team and the supply chain team.
• Payments and collection - Enable payment options and manage collection with our sales team
• Corporate structure - Setup and manage multinational corporate structure - currently a Swedish AB, Norwegian and VAT-registered in several EU-counties as well as the UK. Next up, a WFOE In China?

• Legal - Responsible for processes and partners handling contracts and IP
• Purchasing - Responsible for internal purchasing

Your background

• International - Used to working in an international environment and familiar with reporting from operations abroad. Have previous experience from setting up company structures outside of Sweden

• Analysis - Analytical, data-driven, and highly confident
• Leadership - Have excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
• Accounting - Strong accounting background from a consumer product industry, and be willing to get involved in a hands-on leadership role
• Products - Purchasing, inventory, multi country VAT-reporting, consignment, agents and distributors should be a home turf for you.
• Communications - Experienced at preparing and presenting reports for owners, managers, departments, potential investors, and other stake holders

• Broad - Experiences withing IT, Legal, HR, and/or Logistics would be relevant for potential growing your responsibilities beyond the financial areas
